Happy New Year

I wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Trading year.

I describe 2018 trading year as "bizarre". Last year caught many investors on edge ... so many things happened that affected the financial markets and in some cases were rather unusual, Brexit concerns, US-China trade war to mention a few literarily shook the financial world. We saw extreme volatility in the markets with serious swings. Last December, global stocks plunged into the red. In the case of US stocks ... the bears held upper hand as stocks fell below 20% from its peak. This was last seen in more than a decade. The Dow fell hard on Christmas eve and soared when markets opened after Christmas. This swings were unprecedented. Usually in December ... we talk of Santa rally .. but nothing of such last year.

As we start the New Trading Year tomorrow, I urge everyone to stick to your trading strategy and employ good risk/money management even as we trade.

I see a good trading year for us all. May God continue to  increase us this New year.
